I saw that WD Backup is no longer supported so I installed True Image. Should I remove my old folders from MyBook including the WD Backup.swstor and do a new backup from TI? or can TI use my current backup volume data?

Please take a backup from the WD backup then you can uninstall the software. After that you can install the Acronis backup for backup purposes.
