Why do I only see class 2 16 GB micro SDHC cards? Why aren’t there class 4 and class 6 cards available? When will 32 GB cards become available?

I don’t remember where I saw it, but I read that SanDisk changed what they referred to as “class 2” so that thier 16GB card, for example, is actually a faster than class 2. The class rating is a minimum sustained rating, so they’re saying that is as slow as it could get. It was a while ago that I saw this, though, so I’m not 100% sure of it.
Marvin, I think you’re right. I remember reading that somewhere too. They pretty much got rid of the “class” differences.
Makes sense to me, I think I would be easier and cheaper to have one type of 16gb card instead of 3.
