My G-Drive has been running great since I got it. It’s a 28TB unit, mirrored to 14TB, used for photography/videography. The logo on the front of the unit glows white. But now, its solid red. Normally, something red is bad. The drive appears to be working find, my Macbook. Any ideas on where I can look to begin to understand this?
** Bump (I’m getting worried)
Hi @zonomo1,
Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the SD Technical Support team for best assistance and troubleshooting:https://kb.sandisk.com/app/ask
I used the chat function for assistance but I am afraid that was a very bad experience. I explained my problem of my red blinking logo on the device and the person sent me a link to a bunch of disk Icons. But I guess I’ll open a support case then. Thank you.
Have you resolved it?
I did. I ended up having to rebuild the mirrored drive (I forget exactly in what software I used) I wasn’t sure what was going to happen. There was surprisingly very very little information about exactly what to do and sadly, SanDisk’s customer support was extremely poor at resolving this issue. So much so that I am now questioning all of my future large volume purchases with them.
