Linux won't detect my SSD

Greetings

I have a Dell laptop with a PC SN520 NVMe WDC 256GB SSD. Windows 10 works just fine.

I am trying to Install Linux but the installer won’t detect my SSD. I have tried with both Ubuntu and Debian Linux.

I have updated my laptop’s System BIOS to the latest version.

Sandisk Dashboard tells me the SSD firmware, version 20200012, is up to date.

I have threads going in the Ubuntu and Debian forms, so far without success.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Fred.
