You can if you get a kit with a separate transmitter. The transmitter though will be larger than the Clip+ and more expensive, so it isn’t very practical.

I should have stated dongle-sized; I would have thought that by now a transmitter could have been shrunk to the size say of a wireless mouse dongle.

The wireless mouse dongle gets its power from the usb port. A transmitter hooked up to the headphone jack of the Clip Zip will need to have its own power.
Seems, without bulk, the answer to my question is no.

Yes, plus it is $25+ and will reduce the sound quality when compared to a similar wired earphone or hearphone.
The blutooth earphone or headphone will also be more expensive than a comparable wired one. The process of transmitting and receiving over bluetooth decreases the signal quality. With the bluetooth transmitter, one also has an extra thing that needs changing. The ones I saw on Amazon had 8 hour or 10 hour battery life.
