I just dropped my external hard drive. I tried plugging it into my laptop and its not reconizing it. I have plugged it into my Mac and it doesnt reconize it either.
Please help, what should I do?

If the drive was dropped and now it is not seen on the computer there might be a chance that it was damaged. I recommend that you run a diagnostics using Western Digitals Data Lifeguard Diagnostics to verify what might be the issue.
Drives that have been dropped are frequently physically damaged and beyond do it yourself recovery. If you are considering professional recovery it’s best to do nothing.
