I understand the stress of accidentally deleting important files. While SanDisk doesn’t offer specific software for file recovery, I highly recommend using Disk Drill. It’s a highly efficient app capable of recovering lost files from SD cards, including your 32G Ultra Plus SD. Disk Drill SD Card Recovery is user-friendly and offers a range of tools to recover lost data, ensuring your contacts, messages, videos, and photos can be retrieved. Just install the app on your computer, connect your Sony Xperia Z3, and follow the straightforward recovery process. Your deleted folders could potentially be restored in no time!
If data on your SD card gets deleted, there is no guarantee that you will always recover your data. However, backup comes as a rescue when you want to recover lost photos from SD cards. If you do not have one, it is recommended that you use powerful SD card recovery software. Check out this article on SD card recovery solutions.

When you delete files from an SD card, the file system marks the space occupied by the deleted files as available for new data. However, the actual data isn’t immediately erased from the storage medium. Instead, the pointers to the data blocks are removed, making the space appear free.
The deleted files’ data remains physically present on the SD card until new data overwrites it. This is why data recovery tools can often retrieve deleted files as long as they haven’t been overwritten.
Before rushing to download and use any data recovery tool you come across, it’s important to stop using the SD card immediately. Continuing to use the storge device can result in data being overwritten, which is often irreversible and can significantly reduce the chances of a successful recovery.

As for the OP’s question, some (all?) Sony cameras issue a TRIM-like command to SD cards. This means that deleted data is zeroed. If this is not the case with your particular model, then R-Photo (freeware) should be able to recover all your data.
