I have lost data from WD hard disk. There were number important documents available along with my memorable pictures. Need help to get my files back.

Agreed with Jayson, you can search for free data recovery tool but most of the free data recovery tools allows to recover files upto a certain limit. So if you want to recover data in bulk then I would suggest you to download Windows data recovery software of Stellar. It will surely help you out.

There are chances to recover the deleted file. When files are deleted from your WD portable SSD, they are not immediately erased but rather the space they occupy is simply marked as available for new data. This is why data recovery may be possible, provided the original data hasn’t been overwritten.
To maximize your chances of recovering files from the portable SSD:
- Avoid writing, saving, or creating any new data on the SSD.
- Do not format or repartition the drive.
- Avoid running disk repair utilities that might attempt to “fix” the file system, potentially overwriting the very data you’re trying to recover.
Use specialized data recovery software designed to scan the drive for recoverable data as soon as possible. (Note: download the software on your computer, do DOT save the software installation package to your portable SSD, doing so will overwrite the data you’re trying to recover. First, stop using the WD drive immediately—don’t copy new files or format it. Continued writing can overwrite lost data and reduce recovery chances. If it’s still detected, there may be hope.
