My “My Book Essential Drive” stopped sowing up on “My Computer”. It used to show on “My Computer” and, all of the sudden it stopped showing, disabling access to the drive making use of File Explorer.
It shows on “Devices and Printers” and also on “Device Manager”.
Can you guys help me out?

There can be various reasons for a Hard drive stopped being detected. These reasons are:
Faulty/Unplugged data cable
Disabled drive in BIOS
Missing ATA/SATA drive drivers
Drive not receiving power

I think the problem bust fall within 2. or 3.
Would you be so kind to give me some pointers as to enable the drive in Bios?
Also, I tried checking for updated drivers but was not able to find any. Would you direct me to it?
