Hi,
I have a Gspeed Studio R 16To that I want to use on windows 10 professional 64 bits
with a Thunderbolt 3 port and I have a startech adaptor TB3 > TB1&2 to connect it.
Unfortunatly, after multiples tries, the G-SPEED is not recognize at all.
Specs of my workstation :
Keynux Widea DM
Processor i7 6700k - Chipset Intel Z170 Express - Socket LGA1151 Intel Skylake - 32Go - GT980M
Is this really possible to make it work on windows ?
My drivers are up to date…
Thanks for any help you could provide.
Best,
Julien

Hello,
You don’t only need your Thunderbolt drivers but you also need ours. Did you download ours from the support page?
Windows driver
also
G-Speed GUI
After those are installed it should be OK.
Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
Actually I have installed all drivers and utility software from G-Tech.
I have an up-to-date Intel driver for Thunderbolt that I’ve tried to unistall and replace with the AsMedia driver and nothing changed.
Oh and I have a Paragon utility to be able to read HFS on windows, so it’s not a problem with the factory system file of the RAID5 which is in HFS…
Tomorrow I will check if this is not my Startech adaptor who has a failure because I really don’t see what I have done wrong.
I Hope that it will work
I let you know tomorrow for the adaptor.
Best,
Julien
