Gapless playback has been requested often but as far as I know it hasn’t become a feature fo the clip. I like the Clip but gaps between songs where there aren’t gaps on the original album are very annoying. My next player will be something capable of gapless playback.

Gapless isn’t that big of issue for me … there are plenty of gaps in our lives; I can certainly live with a momentary lapse of music … but if it was, I would want native support of the feature. Not depend on a 3rd party developer … but that’s me.
