Folders in My Passport Essential SE 1TB

I see 4 folders and 2 executable files in my new drive. I clicked on the “WD SmartWare”  executable and clicked  Do not Install. If I do not want to use the WD SmartWare in this drive, can I get rid of these folders and files?

I think I can go ahead and safely remove the user manuals in various other languages?

I removed them, only keeping the driver and manual.
