The original problem was that I tried to copy a 132GB folder from my PC to the Passport external HD. it said it was copied within seconds, but it didn’t copy.
I created a NEW folder on the Passport. Then copied just ONE subfolder over from my PC to the new folder on the Passport. It took an hour to copy a 65GB folder from my PC to the Passport external HD. It said it was completed, no error message AND the free space went form 492Gb to 377GB – so it took up room, but there is NO folder showing.
