FAT volume? how can I change this to suit Protools files

I am trying to save protools music files onto my book, but am informed that the volume need to be “R” in the workspace. Then in the workspace I cannot change volume settings as mybook is assigned as FAT volume.

Anyone know of these problems. What can I do to save these files?

You should format the drive either NTFS (Windows) or Mac OS Extended (Mac).  Following knowledge base will give you instructions.
