first image: the product
second image: disk management. (changed into this after attempting backup)
When i tried to backup my computer with this product, the backup failed and a pop-up states that backup failed due to fatal errors. And the red arrow appears on the harddisk in the disk management and my initially formatted hard disk is reflected as unallocated.
if there anything i can do to recover my hard disk? i attempted to reformat it a couple of times and the same thing happens. Also, i tried regular formatting, and after 36 hours, only 9% is formatted. may i know why?
Hello,
Not sure what is happening on this case. Are you able to test the drive on a different system. perhaps using USB cable.
Also, you can try using the WD DLG tool to test the drive.

Hi,
thanks for the quick respond.
i tried quick test and it failed and i tried full test and it states the estimated time to be 500++ hours.
i am trying the full erase now.
after trying the write zero option, the program refuse to start the test.
i guess this means that this hard disk is not usable already. am i right?
