When I copy a file from the external drive or even empty the recycle bin after deleting files, it gets to about 46-48% and then slows down to the point it is almost stopped. I tried running the Quick Drive or Complete Drive test through WD Utilities but they fail with any detail. I can browse and access files that won’t copy and they behave fine.
My Easystore will take files after a bit of a pause. But trying to read or work the directories is painfully slow, beyond slow. I’ll be replacing the external HD with something else as this is just unworkable except to put stuff on it and forget it. I bought it for a “working” external drive as I use Lightroom and Photoshop but this easydrive just does not work for that.
