Drive Unlocker in WD apps-Please can anyone help?

Hi can someone please help, when I installed the utilties which cam with my 1TB WD Passport today in the All Programs section of Windows start bar there is a Western Digital folder and then two subfolders WD Apps and WD Smartware, in the WD Apps there is WD Security, Utillties and Unlocker and two uninstallers. 

When I click on the WD Unlocker nothing happens at all, I have tried running it, double clicking it, putting it on the desktop and clicking it. Why isn’t it loading Unlocker, (I can access unlocker when I plug the passport in) but am stumped by this, I thought clicking on it would load the unlocker program without having to go through several screens on my computer.

What happens when anyone else clicks it?

WD Unlocker will only run if the passport drive is plugged into the computer.

The sole purpose of the unlocker is to enter a password to unlock a locked drive. It does not allow you to change or set a password. Thus, there is no reason for the unlocker application to launch unless a drive is attached.
