Dish is in their annual argument with Fox and NFL Networks (over a month offline) and after 25 years I am leaving Dish network - need help downloading saved recordings from older style Dish DVR to MyBook 4TB drive and then how do I retrieve them for later viewing- I am a novice! Please use small words! Thanks in advance

I have never tried this since it is not supported. I believe Dish DVR has some format that is not recognized by the computer.
a quick google search reveals it can’t be done
