WD doesn’t test the WD Elements family on televisions, and as such WD can not guarantee compatibility and as such does not advertise TV support. Some Users however have shared their experiences with different television sets with positive results depending on the power supplied by the TV’s USB port for feeding the hard drive and the file system used (FAT32).
It might work if reformatted. Many video devices need to be formatted FAT32 or ExFat.
