If you are on a Windows system open a Command Prompt window and run CHKDSK for the drive.
I encrypted a file with Sandisk Secure Access yesterday and today when I tried to log in it just said “Failure reading the filesystems file (err=1)” Any solution? I found the same question on Reddit and Techgara but there’s no answer.
Usually caused by unsafe removal of the drive and usually can be resolved by running the CHKDSK command for the drive. When removing a removable drive from a Windows system always use the Windows Safe Removal option.
