Connecting SanDisk iXpand with iPad

Hi,

How can we connect SanDisk iXpand with an iPad? Please explain the steps.

if it is a newer ipad with a lightning connector just plug it in. If you have an older ipad with a 30 pin connector the ixpand is not compatible.
