My WD My passport Ultra is not reading my Samsung TV my last WD my passport exact same hard drive hard drive read but had issues so got a new one how to I fix this problem. is the hard drive faulty or there is a setting I can change on the hard drive its a 1tb
Most probably because of the GPT Partition Style (that all the new WD hdds are formatted to)
Your TV may only support MBR … so, either 1) Reformat it to MBR or 2) talk to Samsung Support
