Changing folder name causes camera to declare “no memory card present”

Hello.

I foolishly changed the name of a folder on a 64GB SDXC card and now the card can’t be seen or formatted in the camera.

I tried reverting the folder name to the original name given by the canon format that was done in-camera but no luck.

I tried formatting it in my card reader connected to the laptop but no luck

I tried the wipe function on SanDisk Rescue Pro but no luck

Any ideas how to format it back to factory condition so my camera can see it?

Did you ever figure out what to do? I foolishly renamed my folders as well, now when I insert the memory card back into the camera it’s no longer detected!

Maybe your digital camera’s SD card is corrupted. Try running some disk check tools to fix it. I hope that helps.
