Can't Start Backup

Yesterday I purchased My Book Essential for PC, performed a backup and then upgraded the firmware and Smartware.

Throughout the evening I checked and everything was working fine.

After hiking this morning, I connected my Garmin GPS to download data and also my camera to download pictures.

After that I cannot get the WD Smartware backup to work.

Any suggestions?

Are you getting any errors messages?

No, I didn’t get any error messages.

But I didn’t see any file groupings for the PC on the backup panel.  And I didn’t see any reference to the WD drive.

I’m not sure if I am describing this problem adequately.
