my 1tb wd passport drive can be accessed by my tvs media player but cant on pcs or macs. The drive is recognises by windows but crashes explorer when i try to access the files.
What would be the best method for recovering the files using a pc?
Try using a data recovery program like recuva.
After recovering the files, the drive will need to be reformatted.
