Hello, I have been using a my passport 3TB for a couple of years. The computer that it was connected to never asked me for a Password and when trying on another PC, none that I have used in the past years is being accepted. The tablet PC that i have been using is very slow and old and I need to move all the files to a bigger HDD but only the tablet had been able to access the drive without a password.
I tried again on the new PC and I can’t set a new password on mycloud because I am not getting any email from WD to the email that I would have used at the time. I have tried to use other mails and also tried a possible mail from a now extinct account.
Realising that I might have to go back to trying with the old Tablet to move data 1TB from my passport to the desktop of the tablet 20GB at a time and then from there portion by portion to the new drive, I turned on and connected the my passport to the PC and it’s not recognizing it now only the unlocker. It says unlocked but I can’t see it appear…
Can someone please help me access the data? I can provide WD and my cloud all possible emails that I could have used in the past years to regain access to mycloud… So that I can reset everything.
