I transfered about 11gb of pictures and when I plug my WD in the blue light is steady and on but I have no clue where to go to get access to view my pictures can anyone help

How did you transfer the files to the external drive?
If you used WD Smartware to create a backup then you can go to “computer” and access the external drive. Here you will find a folder called “WDSmartware.swstor”. This is the backup folder and all the backed up files should be in here.
