Edit - RESOLVED with Windows Update.
I see others have had issues getting Win 10 to play nice with My Passport but didn’t find an answer.
This is a 2017 device, just now opened. I updated to the latest WD software, installed WD Discovery. WD Backup will not install from WD Discovery panel, had to d/l from website and install. It opens but won’t run, it can’t see device even though the My Passport Drive is visible in both Windows Explorer, as E: drive, and in WD Discovery, saying 100% available. I tried turning off my Norton security and WD Backup still couldn’t see the drive. I unplugged and rebooted, no help. I see other users had this problem but there was no solution posted, only that Tech support helped one person.
How do I get WD Backup to see the Passport and run?
