Brand New 8TB MyBook Ext. Drive audibly clicking out-the-box

Hi all,
I recently purchased (2) 8TB MyBook external drive, each from a different retailer because they only carried one of them in the store. After setting things up and transferring some data, I’ve noticed that one of them is clicking rather noticeably. To the untrained ear, it might not be noticeable at all, but when I’m listening for it I can faintly hear it across my desk while transferring data to and from it.

Ive transferred about 3 terabytes worth of data already onto it without issue, but I’m concerned about this drive’s longevity as I’m using it in my 3-2-1 backup plan, this specific drive being the on-site one.

In the case of the second drive I bought, from the same retailer but a different location, it is also clicking but it is extremely faint in comparison to the louder one. This still concerns me as this will be my off-site backup that will likely be not connected to power for months at a time.

I’ve attached a google drive link with an mp3 of the noises the first drive is making. Is this supposed to be normal for these drives? If it was just one of them I would exchange them without question, but both of them? Any insight would be appreciated, thank you.

EDIT: Audio recorded with a Blue Yeti for clarity, if that helps.

UPDATE: Im defintely replacing this drive. New day, and this thing is totally rattling off the rails. I am disappointed. The fact that this is a $200, polished bulk drive meant to store sensitive and important data and on day 3 it is nearly unuseable. This is what it sounds like during a data transfer. I cannot believe what I am hearing from such a new drive.

Rattling is definitely suggestive of problems
