Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have just bought Passport Essential WDBAAA5000ARD to store monives on put 1 movie to try onto WD then connected to Samsung TV wouldn’t recognise the USB connection. Went back to the computer & the movie played through the computer. Copied movie onto smaller USB & TV recognised it & could watch movie. Is there something else I need to download?
There’s 2 possibilities here:
- Your Sammy TV expects FAT32 and not NTFS
- Your TV won’t recognize the drive, because of the Unlocker partition.
The drive never said it was compatable with Samsung TVs, unless your TV is running Windows or OSX.
