Backup problem!

Hello everyone,

I hope you’ll understand me, because not only am I French but also I’m a newbie :flushed:

So, the thing is I have some problem : some weeks ago, I saved my datas on my external HD with WD SmartWare, with the “Backup button”. It seemed that it saved all the things on my computer. Then my PC happened to be cleared of all of its containt, and now I try to restore the datas. I used the “restoring button” on WD SmartWare but something seems wrong : the computer memory is almost full but i can’t find my former datas in the “retreived content” folder.

It would be great if someone could help me :catvery-happy:

You can explore the external hard drive manually and look for the smartware.swstor folder, inside this folder you will find all of your files, you can copy the ones that your would like to restore manually. You can also retrieve the files using Smartware, follow the steps on page 48 of the manual. If you still cannot find your files, share the type of files that you want to recover and note that Smartware doesn’t backup your programs.

Thank you, i’ll try this. I just want to retrieve my pictures, videos, musics and documents.
