Backup from WD to Mac

Hello,

There may be a simple answer to this question, but can you backup FROM the WD external drive TO the local drive on your computer i.e. the reverse way you would normally use it. I need to save and work directly from the WD as I am running Pro Tools, so I’d like to be able to backup from it to the Mac drive.

Yes you can, either do it manually (Drag the files from the external drive to the internal drive of your computer) or use almost any mirror backup software since Smartware itself won’t let you do that, but the external drive won’t stop you…
