Seems you can only have 1 backup plan per WD drive in WD Backup software, not very flexible. Tried to create another and says you already have one for your drive select another drive or delete this one.

You can also partition your drive and make a plan for each partition. Works for me.

In this post it sounds as if you could backup multiple machines to the same WD Drive. But I haven’t tested yet…

Yes! you can take the backup from the multiple computers, for that you need to install the WD backup software in each computer. This way when you plug in your My Passport with the computer it will automatically takes the backup.
