Access is Denied on My Passport Ultra Metal 2 TB

I have been using a My Passport on two different computers, one is my Vaio Laptop i7 (first gen) running Windows 8.1 and the other is a desktop running windows 7. I am in a hotel room and was transferring files to a Seagate drive, I received an error about User Drive History and was prompted to repair the drive, I was also prompted to set a password and save security certificates to another drive. I approved the repair, and was told the computer had to reboot. I was copying files FROM the My Passport, once the computer rebooted, the drive is no longer accessible. All WD tools report the drive as good. I attempted to change the drives security access permissions and while it attempted to apply the security settings, it listed all of my missing files but was unable to apply the security changes. So it is obvious that the files are all there, I simply cannot access them. I read that all these drives are encrypted by the factory, so apparently the encryption includes some kind of security, but it is not asking me to log on or anything, just reporting Access is Denied.
