I have taken a 750 Gb Hard Disk 53 gb space is been deducted.
its showing 697 gb for storage.
need to know how much space is usually get deducted external hard drive.

This happens with all drives, this is due to an issue with the translation from Bynary to decimal, however, this does not mean that the space that is not showing is not available for you to use it. I found an article that explains this issue with more details.
