I own a 1TB and a 2TB My Book external drive. Both have failed in the past 6 months. Both failed the quick and full tests. They were both covered under warranty and fortunately, I was able to recover most of the data. I am losing confidence in WD products. Has anyone else experienced multiple failures?
did you have then plugged into a surge protector and or ups?
