Error 1003 & 1005

Some users may receive Error 1003 or 1005 when attempting to update the firmware of a Sansa device using the Sansa Firmware Updater. These errors are produced when the servers hosting the firmware have no available connections and the request times out before the server can respond. These errors typically occur in peak usage hours.

If you receive Error 1003 or 1005 when attempting to update the firmware of your Sansa device please try updating at a non-peak hour time or follow the manual firmware update instructions posted at the top of each Sansa board.
