Re: Error Code: 0x80070052

I bought 2 Nextar MA715 MP3/4 Players @ 2GB and had the same problem.

I fixed it.

1. No more than 109 files per subdirectory.

Then you can have 190 Sub directories with 109 files in each dir.

109*109 = 11881 Files per memcard.

I dont know what the deal is with SD cards, But they are quirky thike that.

it is not the SD card it is the file system used to format the card. maost devices 2GB and smaller are formatted with FAT. i suggest reformatting cards into FAT32 since it does not have the same limitations FAT has.

Thanks.  I did re-format the card to FAT32 and that solved the problem.

I get this Error where all these dirty websites pop up at the same time when I put my 8GB SDHC in to my MicroMate. What the flip is going on? My computer crash's every time! So, I can't Format my SanDisk 8GB SDHC with my Black MicroMate. Help me!

it sounds like you have a virus on your card. maybe try going into safe mode without network and try a format from there or use a MAC or Linux box and try to format the card.
