If you’re referring to the latest .24 version that was released a year ago (as gwk1967 pointed out); yes, some people had/have issues with it. I don’t know as I’d call it ‘terrrible’ though. You can always revert back to the .18 release as others have done. It is trouble-free.
And no, there won’t be any more, so you might as well get used to it.
