Re: subscription expired... what subscription? this thing is reformatted!

I had the same problem and tried the fixes above and even spoke with SanDisk support. What solved the problem for me was:

1. add music to the Clip

2. exit Rhapsody

3. delete file My Computer\Sansa Clip 2GB\Internal Memory\Service\Rhapsody\subscriptioninfo.xml

4. disconnect clip from usb

I can still play all my music files including the Rhapsody to go files with no "subscription expired" message.

I HAD the same problem.  I tried everything the other people said and it didn't work.  Finally, I tried this one from Misterclip and it WORKED!  All I did was delete the subscription file as instructed.  THANK YOU!

Thanks so much.  That did the trick for my device.

I hope this chases the nuisance called registration expired (tracks) ????? This has been a real time waster.   gener

Use only .mp3 format files and this won't happen at all. WMA files can be 'protected' thereby causing problems if DRM or 'copy protection' is added.
