I don't know if this is normal or not, but it won't shut off either.

Re: Help getting out of manufacturer mode

It is easy to get the battery out. On the back of your player there are 4 srews, just unscrew them, take the mettal back off and remover the battery. Wait couple of seconds and then put it back it.

Don't worry about openning the back of the player, you wont get to any working parts of the player itself since they are under the battery and covered.

And It's safe to do this while the player is running?

I wouldn't suggest anything that would be harmful to your device, worry not.

Re: Help getting out of manufacturer mode

If you can't turn off the device, I believe it should be safe to remove the battery. The Sansa is a flash based, so there are no moving parts. You might need to format the device after you get it to work just to make sure everything is backup and running.

Thanks for the quick responses.

I got it working again.

The Same thing happened to my Sansa Clip, can you help me here, or do you recommend me making another post in that forum?
