Hi I just got the Sansa E250R Rhapsody from a friend the other day, they don't have the disks anymore and the download online says its for the E200 Rhapsody only, so will it not work with the E250R and if so where do I find a program for it? Thanks!

Your unit can only refresh its database when it is un-plugged from the computer, so I don't understand (nor have I ever heard of) this error message. It doesn't make sense.
I would be for re-formatting it and see if that would 'clear its throat'. Of course, this will erase everything in the memory, so make sure you have back-ups in order to re-load the player if this works.

I'm thinking maybe he's getting the "Your subscription tracks have expired. Connect to your PC to renew" message, and misunderstanding it. If that's what's happening, you need to run the program that the tracks came from (Rhapsody maybe, or Windows Media Player if the default settings weren't changed) and connect the e200R so the licenses can be renewed.
