Re: test your microSD(HC) card's actual transfer rate with this free utility and post the results he

Bought 32GB Class 10 card from Aliexpress branded as "memorette". I was aware of the ripoff chance, but I was still curious. Smiley Happy

So yeah, in reality it's a 2GB Class 4 card. When writing big files on those REAL 2 GB the speed was 4.7 MBps, when using fake capacity it decreases seemingly because it needs to corrupt/overwrite the existing files.

Brand: Memorette

Warning: Only 29907 of 29908 MByte tested.
The media is likely to be defective.
1.9 GByte OK (3989440 sectors)
27.3 GByte DATA LOST (57260096 sectors)
Details:0 KByte overwritten (0 sectors)
0 KByte slightly changed (< 8 bit/sector, 0 sectors)
27.3 GByte corrupted (57260096 sectors)
0 KByte aliased memory (0 sectors)
Writing speed: 3.52 MByte/s
Reading speed: 9.58 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

In the end though I asked for a partial refund, and luckily I have a gadget where I can use the 2GB as well, so not too bad.

Re: test your microSD(HC) card's actual transfer rate with this free utility and post the results he

I just got trick when I bought Samsung microsd 32gb class 10 from eBay (instead of 32gb I got 2gb and class 2)

here is the test

1.9gb ok

29.3 data lost

writing speed 3.5mb/s

reading speed 9.35mb/s

Now I am wondering if right now I got the original Lexar 32gb class 10?

Here is the test result

Warning: Only 30522 of 30523 MByte tested.

Test finished without errors.

You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.

Writing speed: 11.1 MByte/s

Reading speed: 17.1 MByte/s

H2testw v1.4

Can someone give me more information / confirmation if this is more less lexar class 10 speed?

ps: to test the card I was using SD card adapter, I dunno if the speed will decrease because of that.

Moreover if its 32gb, why it says only 29.8gb available? I mean why dont they say it 30gb card instead of 32gb (2gb loss is big).

That's the way the industry marketing works.
