Thank you c1u31355, It's done!.
update! "using command32"
1. Download recover.rar from...
Step $ (firmware update)
1. connect player in recovery mode (RECOVERY MODE!!!! with record button)
2. copy PP5022.mi4 to 16 mb partition
3 restart player
if you have a problem with the firmware updater or it doesn't recognize it get one "firmware.exe" to get up the software.
I got the e250.

Thank you! I'm putting this very clear explanation in my own stickies list for the next time someone asks this.

So I visit this site and everything is in Cryllic characters. I don't read Cryllic and so I don't know which of the links to click to make the download. Any help her?

What site is in Cyrillic?

The cyrillic link is here: it's the first one for recover.rar and the server is based upon cyrillic. The file is there in the box on the right, with a little stacked-books library logo.
For those who are undertaking an e200tool operation, I believe that the same file is available by searching anythinbutipod.com or even rockbox.org, in case you are worried about a dubious pedigree for the download.
If you are going down this path, my strongest suggestion is to read the directions more than once, as they are detailed. Be sure to print out the directions as a reference.
The manufacturing mode steps, plus the need to press the correct button before running the application listed, means that you must take your time! Good luck!
