I brought Sansa e250 refurb and so I didnt get any user manual an CD with it. I read manual online.
When I try to connect to my PC, nothing comes up, It doen't detect the device. I tried on Windows XP professional, Windows 2000(even it doesn't support).
I did no installations on my PC but thought device will detect automatically. Please help me out in this.

Your player needs Windows Media Player 10 or 11 to connect in MTP mode. Your Windows 2000 doesn't support WMP 10 or 11.
If your Windows XP computer has it, uninstall it and reinstall it. Then try connecting again.
If that doesn't work, try connecting in MSC mode.

Read my post on this thread for some possible things to try. If it's not connecting in MSC mode, then you need to try to get it to work in MSC mode first before moving on to MTP mode. The players almost always connect properly in MSC mode absent things like player hardware failure, bad cable, bad USB port, or using an incompatible USB Hub or extension cable. Be sure to plug the player directly into the PC, bypassing any hubs or extensions. Try all the ports on the computer, front and back panel.

I tried all the options given by you but still my PC doesnt like this mp3 player and its not detecting it even not in MSC mode. I tried all type of solutions like changing USB mode, going to Device Manager in Windows and scanning there etc... but whatever the case, its not detecting it. My sansa e250 player is working fine, I m able to recodr the voice and delete it, playing music all works fine exept connecting to PC, Is I missing something very stupid something while connecting to PC, please advice, anything....
I m using the same USB port where my other devices are getting easily detected.
Please plz help me, otherwise I m gonna return this.

It's possible you have a bad cord.
It's also possible that you got a bad unit, since many people have trouble with refurbished ones. I suggest you return it and see if they send you one that works better.
