SD card : After shut down, and reboot : multiple same mp3 files!

[ Edited ]

I will try to explain, my english is not so good!!!  I will load a map, let's say "Leonard Cohen-live in London".

No problem, it will be on the sd card. But , every time, I shut down the player and later I put it on again, the view, will have a refresh, and the songs will be listed multiple times!

Like :

map-like a bird on a wire- Susan-who by te fire

Will be

map-like a bird on a wire-like a bird on a wire-Susan-Susan-who by the fire-who by the fire.

If I turn it on the next time, refresh again, then the maps will contain 3 times the same file!

So it will play 3 times the same song, very annoying!

What to do about that?

This is a known bug with the View's firmware. Search the forum for "SD Duplicates" to find ways to alleviate (avoid and reduce the pain) the problem.

Re: SD card : After shut down, and reboot : multiple same mp3 files!

The only solution, I found, correct me if I am wrong, that the  player has to be turned off completely, especially while removing and insering the card.

This is not a good method. Sometimes, the player would put it self in the stand by mode after a map is finished.

For met these two things are annoying aal together.

1. This Sd card issue

2. Not to play several maps in a row...
