I bought a Sansa View (8GB) in September of 2008. The hold button no longer works at all. The player is frozen in locked mode so it's impossible to use it for anything or connect it to the computer. I am currently living in Iceland - far from the store where I bought it and through which the warranty is serviced. Is my only option to send it in the mail for repair or is there a way to get repair service nearer to here?
Also, is this a freak incident or have others had the same problem? Considering that this is a very new player, a malfunction of this kind seems surprising.
