Re: ALL VIEW OWNERS AND SANSA WORKERS READ THIS

Low battery life on the .29FW was because people put it on standbye mode instead of shutting it down.

That's really strange... 1.02.09a was the firmware that borked so many View user's battery life that they had to revert to 06. Look bacK in the forums.

Actually, though my View fucntions well in all respects, the battery l;ife isn't up to what others are claiming for theirs.

YES! My video files still work! Smiley Happy I upgraded to the latest FW and copied my old Creative Zen MPEG-4 video files to a card and plugged it in my View. They all play!

If anybody wants the format of this card, excluding the video files, which will make non-SMC video files play on your View, let me know and I'll upload it it. It consists of a "System" folder and "MTPContent" folder plus the video file folder labeled "0". There are some other folders inside "0", which you will receive, which you can load movies into. No media content will be provided. You'll need to find your own.

EDIT - I went ahead and just uploaded it. Here's the link:  http://rs444.rapidshare.com/files/216368351/SYSTEM.zip
