I suppose it will take a day or three before the Rockbox guys get this fixed. I waited months for complete v2 support, so I guess I can wait a few more days.
The download link you are referring to (1.2.8, 23 September 2010) is the Rockbox Utility itself, not the update to Rockbox for the players.
Full USB support for the V2’s and Clip+ is not yet ready , but now with my V1 Fuze, no more Sansa OF…plugging it into the computer boots right into Rockbox, so I no longer have to boot it manually into RB before plugging into the computer.
