Time and Date problems with Fuze

Ok, so I’ve had this problem since I got my Fuze at Christmas…

I set the time and date in the system settings, and it seems to keep track of time.

Right? Wrong.  When I turn off my fuze for the day, and the next day when I turn it back on, the time is where it left off when I shut it off the day previous, and the date didn’t change.  For example on March 11, I shut down my Fuze at 10:00 PM, and at 3:35 PM the next day (the next day being March 12),  the time still displays as 10:00 PM on March 11.  I have tried everything from reformatting my Fuze, Reseting factory setting defaults, and updating the firmware.    Nada. Zilch. Zippo.  Nothing changed with this problem… so now I turn to others to help.

Can you help me out with this problem?

Sorry to also add,  Its the 8GB Sansa Fuze, no memory card, version 1 (NOT version 2)

Sounds like you have an RTC issue.  Contact Support at 1-866-SANDISK for a replacement device, or exchange it at the place of purchase.

I assume that means “real-time clock”.
